  1. Voting Green is positive and far-sighted.
Green politics express a positive vision of human nature and potential. Green politics sets urgently needed reforms within longer term strategies – not sticking-plaster solutions to last until the next election. The way we live now is destructive, wasteful and unjust. We must change.

  2. Voting Green gets the message across.
Every extra vote for the Green Party convinces the other political parties, the Media, professional bodies and the Public that Green politics is growing, popular and mainstream: worth adopting, worth publicising, worth teaching, worth learning and thinking about and worth voting for.

  3. Voting Green keeps the pressure on.
Every Green vote tells the other major parties that their offer of more of the same is just not good enough. They will only develop more coherent environmental policies as they continue to lose votes and support to the Greens.

  4. A Green vote is proving to be most effective at a local level.
Green councillors are making a difference in Breckland and throughout Norfolk.

  5. Voting Green is a vote for greater democracy.
The Green Party' demands Proportional Representation at all elections – local, national and European – and actively promotes the devolution of power out of Westminster and back into the hands of the people. In many countries with fairer electoral systems, Green MP’s are already providing a fresh, new approach to Government – putting people before politics.

  6. Green Councillors are not “career politicians”.
We are local people dedicated to working with others to build a better quality of life for our communities.

  7. Voting Green is an honest vote.
Voting negatively for the lesser of two evils is neither honest nor wise. Less principled political parties – and Governments – claim these negative votes as a mandate for their policies. One thing is certain …
If you don't vote for what you really want you're never going to get it!

  8. Voting Green is realistic.
The Green Party is the only Party with the political will to make the changes necessary for the survival of our planet. The token "environmentalism" of the other major parties – cynical vote-catching for the most part – stands in direct contradiction to their faith in uncontrolled exploitative industrial growth as the solution to society's problems.

  9. Green politics is much more than just Conservation.
The protection of the environment includes everything from dismantling nuclear weapons and the Arms trade to tackling unemployment, and from shutting down nuclear power stations to improving our schools, hospitals and public transport.

  10. The other parties promise you the moon.  The Green Party guarantees the Earth.
